Senior Design Project
Goal: Create a safe and accessible environment for wheelchair users in a food pantry. To achieve this the idea of creating a device to open the fridge doors with a remote and retrofit into their existing fridges was put in place. I designed the kinematics, mechanical specs, electrical, and software for the device.
Results: Out of all senior projects, mine was the only project to win an award for best student project in mechanical engineering.
HS Robotics
Goal: Score as many points as possible in a game. The task was to flip flags with balls and park on a platform. The game pairs one alliance member chosen randomly against two random opponents. There is a 15 second autonomous section and 2:45 min driver section.
Results: Was the only 1 out of 4 teams at my school to make it to the international world championship in 2019.
